There is some real false equivalence going on online right now surrounding the supposed moral incoherence of a religious exemption for the COVID vaccine due to the involvement of aborted cell lines and (in the case of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines) human desecration and vivisection in the development of these vaccines. The truth is, there is a crucial difference between origin and later misuse that rends the arguments against religious exemption invalid.

That was a mouthful, so let’s break it down.

In a new article published by NBC News, they claim in a headline that “anti-trans violence surges.” The byline continues by saying that trans murders have increased 266% from this time last year (1).

266% is a significant jump.

Then you read the article and find out that the 266% jump is from 3 trans people being murdered to 11 people.

The 266% was purposely thrown in the byline to make an issue more severe than it really is.

If you are a conservative, the headline of this article is a given fact.

If you are a centrist, apolitical, or consider yourself slightly Democrat, you probably mostly disagree with the notion that the Left-Wing has a stranglehold on American culture.

If you are a Leftist radical, you deny the premise outright and think the mere existence of humanity is victimizing you, POCs, LGBTQ+, and every other marginalized group.

Why is culture so important?

First, let me say I’m not supporting the violent actions of January 6th, 2021. This is just what I think is happening or going to happen. I love the constitution and pray we can continue in this constitutional republic until the Lord comes back.

However, I don’t think the Republic has much more than a decade or two left, barring a miraculous intervention by the Lord. And these events are only a symptom, and a minor one at that, of that decay.

John adams once said “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

We have been so focused on protecting the constitution for the people that we have forgotten what kind of people we have for the constitution.

How We Got Here

In their never-ceasing efforts to “fundamentally transform America,” Democrats have employed various means to achieve their goals.

In the recent past, when Liberalism still proudly existed among Democrats, ideas were passed through the legislative process as an outcome of the dutifully elected in our Constitutional Republic.

When these ideas turned to take on a more dogmatic form, absent of statistical and factual basis, they readily employed “judicial activism” in an attempt to legislate from the bench the ideas the values they could not pass in the chambers.
